Olivia’s experience in the world of arts administration began with the Memphis Youth Symphony. There, she served as the Music Librarian and Operations Manager throughout the 2023-2024 concert season, organizing and printing music for seven ensembles and aiding in ensemble and organization operations. Olivia also worked as a contractor at Crosstown Arts in both the Music Programming and Guest Services departments.

During her time at UNLV, Olivia served as principal flute of both the UNLV Wind Orchestra and the UNLV Symphony Orchestra. She has directed the Las Vegas Flute Ensemble, and performed with the Las Vegas Philharmonic on Andrea Bocelli’s Christmas Special. This performance was aired on CBS in December 2024. As a soloist, Olivia won the Beethoven Club Young Artist Competition in 2024, and has attended events such as the Sewanee Digital Winterfest and Whole Flutes as a performer in order to further her knowledge and skills. Over the years, Olivia has had the honor of performing for notable flutists such as Lorna McGhee, Jacqueline Leclar, Juilee Kim Walker, Brandon Patrick George, Adam Sadberry, Marianne Gedigian, Jill Felber, Aaron Goldman, Donna Shin, and Maria Castillo.

In addition to her budding performance career, Olivia is an active teacher with a vast array of teaching experience, ranging from lessons to full band rehearsals. She has taught students across all grade levels, and is passionate about helping to make music education more accessible for all students. In 2022 and 2023, Olivia served as a fellow at the Lutheran Summer Music Festival. In this role, she utilized her pedagogical skills, serving as a chamber coach, musicianship instructor, lessons teacher, and student mentor. Olivia continues to teach in Las Vegas, provides group lessons and sectionals to students in fifth through twelfth grade.
